The Mortgage Interview
Get Expert Mortgage Advice – Tailored Solutions to Fit Your Needs
Your mortgage interview will be conducted by one of our qualified and experienced mortgage advisers. This can take place either in person or over the phone, ensuring you receive all the information necessary to make an informed decision about your mortgage options.

During the interview, your adviser will discuss your current circumstances to determine the most suitable mortgage product and repayment method for you. They will also assess your borrowing capacity and insurance needs.
The adviser will ask for the following information based on your employment status:
If You Are Employed:
- Your last 3 monthly wage slips and P60
- Your personal bank statement from the previous month
- Two forms of identification
- Details of any outstanding credit
- Previous mortgage statement (if applicable)
If You Are Self-Employed:
- Your audited accounts for the last 2-3 years
- Your personal and business bank statements from the previous month
- Two forms of identification
- Details of any outstanding credit
- Previous mortgage statement (if applicable)
In some cases, we may request a detailed assets and liabilities statement.
Our easy-going interview process ensures that you find the mortgage product that best suits your needs.
Please be open and honest with your adviser, as full disclosure of your financial situation will help us tailor the right solution for you. A full credit search will be performed later in the process (with your consent, of course!).
You’ll have direct access to your mortgage adviser from the initial consultation all the way to the completion of your mortgage, and they’ll be available to answer any questions you have along the way.
